The MOEA and the MOST are promoting the "Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program" and have compiled the "Application Notices for the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program (Incubation Project for Emerging Industries)" (hereinafter referred to as "Notices") in pursuant to the "Subsidy and Assistance Regulations for Promoting Industry Innovation of Ministry of Economic Affairs" (hereinafter referred to as "Regulations"). The program aims to respond to industry demands and national policies, develop alternative mainstream emerging industries, encourage businesses to develop new products or new forms of services, and ultimately form an industry ecosystem. The MOEA and the MOST will provide interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary integration, access to research results of forward-looking science and technology research programs, and product and services development in emerging industries through subsidies.
MOEA's Industrial Development Bureau (hereinafter referred to as "the Bureau") has commissioned the Taiwan Small & Medium Enterprise Counseling Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "SMECF") to establish the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program Office of the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA pursuant to administrative procedures. The office will perform administrative duties related to applications as well as oversight and evaluation of the agreement signing; and compile a guideline on procedures and required materials in pursuant to the program's application and review requirements for the industry's reference.
