The MOEA and the MOST are promoting the "Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program" and have compiled the "Application Notices for the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program (Innovation Optimization Program)" (hereinafter referred to as "Notices") in pursuant to the "Subsidy and Assistance Regulations for Promoting Industry Innovation of Ministry of Economic Affairs" (hereinafter referred to as "Regulations"). The program is aimed at encouraging promising manufacturers to obtain key technologies/products, constructing a comprehensive supply chain, guiding businesses to build a total system solutions supplier, increasing whole factory and turnkey solution exports, and competing for opportunities around the globe. The MOEA and MOST will provide interdisciplinary integration, develop total solutions, and assist manufacturers develop key equipment, materials, and components through subsidies.
MOEA's Industrial Development Bureau (hereinafter referred to as "the Bureau") has commissioned the Taiwan Small & Medium Enterprise Counseling Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "SMECF") to establish the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program Office of the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA pursuant to administrative procedures. The office will perform administrative duties related to applications as well as oversight and evaluation of the agreement signing; and compile a guideline on procedures and required materials in pursuant to the program's application and review requirements for the industry's reference.
