To guide industries in Taiwan to develop high-value products, encourage corporations to enter the high-end market and promote Taiwan's image abroad, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Technology are promoting the "Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program" and have compiled the "Application Guidelines for the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines") in pursuant to the "Subsidy and Assistance Regulations for Promoting Industry Innovation of the Ministry of Economic Affairs" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"). The program aims to assist corporations in mastering key techniques or developing new services in order to increase added values. By doing so, our corporations can enter the high-end market, sell more products and make more profit.
MOEA's Industrial Development Bureau (hereinafter referred to as "the Bureau") has commissioned the Taiwan Small & Medium Enterprise Counseling Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "SMECF") to establish the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform Program Office of the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA pursuant to administrative procedures. The office will perform administrative duties related to applications as well as oversight and evaluation of the agreement signing; and compile a guideline on procedures and required materials in pursuant to the program's application and review requirements for the industry's reference.
